The first release
NoviFS 1.0 gives your Mac full read and write access to NTFS drives.
- Read and write NTFS drives in Finder and every app: hard drives, SSDs, USB sticks and SD cards.
- Built on Apple's FSKit, so there's no kernel extension, no macFUSE and nothing to change in Recovery mode.
- The big switch: flip any drive between Read and Write. The knob moves the moment you click.
- Write on connect: drives are ready to write as soon as you plug them in. Choose read-only for a drive and NoviFS respects it.
- Menu bar controls for every drive, and safe eject that finishes every write first.
- Guided setup in four steps (Welcome, Permission, Activate, Plug in), with the exact clicks for macOS 15, 26 and 27, and the "By Category" fix when the System Settings switch won't stay on.
- Licenses for 1, 2 or 10 Macs, with Move to Another Mac built in.
